Potentially Semi-silly question. Is there a noticeable difference between diamond, bead, sand, candy, etc., blasts? Or is it all roughly the same result with different jargon? I’ve played a couple of sand blasted throws and a supposedly bead blasted throw and they are noticeable rough to the touch but wasn’t sure if the processes were any different. Complete noob on finishes so… enlighten me

Typically different blasts will use different sized medium to give different textures. Diamond blast from G2 is much more textured than a typical blast, where there are some blast finishes like Atmos uses where its very smooth and almond chalky feeling.

Just got it this morning. First impression: love it. Never threw a CLYW before. I heard people say the snow tires pads are too grippy on some yoyos. I rarely have 72 layers of string in the gap and I put a @BadWolfeCo goldilocks slicc on it and it feels awesome with very nice binds. I’ve wanted a CLYW for several years and the look of the clear w/ engraving and specs called to me and I ordered it so I knew it would come on the day that marked 1 week since my Buddy went over the Rainbow Bridge and it would be the 2nd roughest day I had in 10 years.
