Found these Downbeat halfs being sold on Ebay for £15 so decided to give it a go.
Some new pads and mini dome SEs and its playing great. was really expecting it to be vibey as hell since its seen a lot of play but nope almost like new. definitely one of my better eBay gambles

It just arrived today and I’ve only thrown it a couple minutes, I’d need to put in more time to give a thorough opinion but I can say it’s very tug responsive out the box.
In the hand, it’s very nostalgic and reminiscent of the Playmaxx Cold Fusion GT but with a modern twist.
Bimetal, butterfly shape with a flat bearing is very unique in play.
Stable and powerful for what it is but watch out when doing string tricks with that tug response haha.

Black is probably my all-time favorite colorway, so I almost started drooling when I saw your mailday pic. I’ve been looking for a good price on a Terrarian for a while now, and I’m so glad I finally got one! This thing feels like it was made for me, the W shape, the ridges for grinds, the matador side effects, it’s floaty but also powerful, plus the video game nerd points. It’s an instant favorite tbh, so happy I grabbed this throw. I didn’t love my first OD throw (Silhouette) but the Terrarian has redeemed the brand imo

Oooh, yeah now that I’ve got my hands on a Terrarian I’m definitely gonna need to find a Legendary too. Ultralites are the flat side effects, right? Sorry I’m new here lol (“here” meaning “yoyos with side effects”)
