Super cool final hold, I’d love to learn it. 
Just saw this, so I guess it’s old news. I wasn’t dragging Duncan, I was merely curious about the purpose of the plastic spacers. Had they been metal, it would have made more sense - but these appear to be the same plastic as the yoyo body. Just curious as to why they weren’t molded in. Probably just easier in production. Doesn’t really matter, it works great as it is.
It was me who was the one judged as dragging. Not you.

Look into getting a used MSG if you end up getting tired of that collapsar due to its weight. I found 70g was the perfect balance of heavy and performing

I bought one of these direct from Evan the day he announced his return to competition yoyo, and the Edge 2022 is definitely a fantastic yoyo. I am not too well versed in the Edge line of yoyos, only having this one and a 1.5, but this is like everything I love about the 1.5, but much more refined. It is power, stability, and fun all well balanced, just as a good W shape delivers. W shapes for me are the ultimate performance yoyos with good mid-paced feels, and is probably my favorite yoyo shape (sorry organic, but a good W like this just performs better and is just as fun).

Looks like GTR-JS added more center weight with the bump in the middle of the cup. I wonder if the SS rings are a little smaller as well. I didn’t pick one up this time, maybe next year.

Ok, that haul makes me feel less shame about what arrived this week:
SF Movement and Motive up front. I didn’t do any research about those two, but just jumped when I saw SFs pop up. The Motive looks similar to the Bliss iirc. The Movement is really nice, too.
