I got a $70 Refund Check since I apparently overpaid my OHIO STATE TAX in 2021. I guess that will help justify at least one of my recent Yo-YO purchases.

Yes that was made for my daughter when she was born. Her first name is actually spelled Makenzie but its all good, I never explained that to YYJ, only 20 were made (that I know of). My family has the majority of them but its cool to see the randoms floating out there. My daughter turns 16 this year, She has one, my mom and dad have there own. I kept 5 or 6 of them. The rest are on her mothers side of the family.
The (nearly) inverted colors on the Panorama/Diorama look really cool right next to each other!

The Kickside is still hanging out with me, and is one of my prized yoyos. I removed all of the caps to preserve them since I play it pretty regularly. I didn’t know these editions were exclusive to only the family - I feel even more honored to own one.
Thank you for making the Kickside. It’s an absolute joy to throw and it holds up to any other modern plastic for me. Appreciate you taking the time to give us the history behind it - I really like that sort of stuff.

The YoYo is very good, I enjoy it a lot, I can’t honestly say it outperforms all the other crash series it mimics for the price. But if you like the shape and you want a titanium, it’s worth a buy.

edit: the bearing in this one felt a little “clunky” out of the box. i de-shielded and cleaned in mineral spirits. dried it up and…THERE IT IS. so smooth. it’s a 10 ball concave bearing. i love it.
Have been so busy recently I forgot to post what I picked up at DXL a little over a week ago. Two bangers: Mowl Q and Ministar 2. Thanks to @Chriscatastrophe, I was able to try a few Mowl throws and was instantly in love with the Q. A bunch of people here who kinda know what I’m into told me I’d love this thing and they were absolutely right. If you like organic yoyos, specifically the Grail, pick this thing up. Thanks Chris!
Also picked up a MiniStar 2 from Ernie. Normally not into small yoyos at all so I actually passed on picking this guy up when it was initially released, however that was a big mistake I guess, since I’ve been taking it everywhere with me since I’ve gotten it. Truly the first “mini” yoyo I’ve loved. Those inner bimetal rings make it wildly stable. I’ve only given my Ditch a few throws since getting this thing, I think it blows everything else in the category away (including the old Ministar which is very “meh” compared to this thing).

I can see where you are coming from with the polished one. I got the blasted and it is the silkiest and smoothest out of all my yoyo’s. The GTR is so much like a wide version of the Grasshopper GTX. It’s a little surprising but I would put it above all my Yoyofriends stuff and even some of the G2 bimetals not the speediest but just smooth and predictable.
The hybrid arrow is really good imo. Enjoy your new goodies 
I agree with everything you stated. The GTR is definitely a wider GrasshopperGTX ( the comparison Duncan made was like icecream and milkshakes, same but different)

This yoyo is absolutely amazing !!! Me personally being an edge fanboy 
I really enjoy all of Evans throws But this one in particular is definitely one of my favorite bi-metals ever !!! I also have an edge beyond as well but by comparing them they are two completely different beasts !!! The edge 2022 Is quite nimble and light on the string but yet you can feel the power of the ss rims and overall it has a pleasant feel in play and it’s a great casual throw (due to its fun and pleasant feel) while still being a great competition performer. The edge beyond however is still nimble but not as fast as the edge 2022, it does though have a greater feeling of power due to the larger ss rims and has a little more control and weight than the edge 2022, the edge beyond would make a fantastic competition throw while being a great casual performer as well. I absolutely love playing with both of them and you can’t go wrong with either one.
