Throwing my YYF Horizon. Got a few scuffs on it now after a year.
Throwing this today. Some fool (Hi Ernie) seems to think the first run should be sold as B-Grade stock. That’s crazy talk, in my opinion it has incredible play. If you can get your hands on one of these B-Grade LeGatos I highly recommend you do so.
Aww he’s actually distributing the “B” grades? The purple one he has looks amazing.
Don’t let the b-grade thing fool you. I think Ernie is being too picky and told him as much. He says they are not up to his spec because the response groove was not cut deep enough. Basically the pads sit flush instead of being recessed. I think it plays d@mn good as is and think anyone who is lucky enough to get ahold of one of these “b-grade” is getting one heck of a deal on General-Yo’s first bimetal.
