How does it play? How does it compare to the Draupnir?

I wish I still had one of my Draupnirs around to do a side-by-side comparison, but from what I remember of the Draupnir, the BTM-R is like a Draupnir on steroids with more comfortable rims. Plays light and fast, yet spins like crazy and is super stable. It’s also less snaggy than the Draupnir when using extra fat strings like Ammo or Kitty XL.

You know that feeling you get when you throw a Draupnir for the first time? It gave me the same feeling even though a Draupnir wouldn’t feel like anything special to me anymore.
