So that was the last time I could say “woolly marmot”. 
Sold it to a friend today. If anybody’s selling a blasted Smooth Move (with caps), hit me up.
So, ran through a bunch of other yoyos to pick one for the IronArm gyro flops contest… Krown, Prestige, Monkey Fist, format:C, Minute.
Monkey Fist with a Whipple bearing got the nod. Which is weird because usually flat bearings are better for gyros. But somehow it was just working for me today.

Just got my first visible yoyo related injury in a while. Was throwing Ava/Sas/Chief/AC when the AC decided to bind mid suicide and smash my hand in what was originally a little red dot and it now an enormous black and blue welt.
Now I’m scared of my AC so Cascade for a while 
Low-level thrower here: I only have a OneStar, Di Base 2, and PGM, but normally all I really throw is the Di Base. I picked up the PGM again today… boy is it fun! Just holding it gives me this wonderful feeling, like nothing could mess up this yoyo, it’s construction is so base and solid. After a few throws I forgot the feeling of when I first picked it up. The distinctive whine, the solid feeling. It was a nice day.
