What are you throwing today?

How is the Shutter compared to the G-funk? I have a g funk and wonder how it would compare against it.

In my opinion, the shutter is alot better than the g funk. It spins for alot longer and it is much more stable. And it also looks alot cooler. Again, that is my opinion. The shutter sleeps alot longer than G funk too. I’m not very advance with grinds, but on the g funk when I would try to do a chopsticks trick and hit my fingers, it would spin out really quickly and die, but with the shutter it still spins for alot longer even when I hit my finger. By the way I have a CT bearing in my shutter. Overall, I like the shutter much more than the g funk.

Glad to hear you like the Shutter more. Thanks for the input, I might get a shutter later

Thanks! And your welcome.

Cascade, AC, Skywalker

After years I really feel like I’ve found the perfect yoyos for me. I feel like I’ve consistently played the AC/Cascade more than I’ve played any other yoyo in such a short time period. The Cascade is perfect in the hand and a spectacular player and the AC is my favorite player. The Skywalker is my newest acquisition and a joy to play but as much as I’m enjoying it, I suspect it will find its way into one of my cases within the next couple days where all my other awesome but not favorite yoyos reside.

I just realized that string doesn’t reject as easily on my shutter. It was much easier on my g funk. Is that because of the size?

Are you going to use the shutter on stage?

You might just need some practice. Rejections are not that big of a problem on mine. You might just be used to rejecting on a smaller yoyo.

Probably, and 2 other different throws as backup :stuck_out_tongue:

Canvas. At the moment it always seems to be a Canvas. Such a cool throw.

Probably have a more recessed response on one vs the other. Also the smoother the finish, and spin of the yoyo the harder it is to reject string, although only marginally more.

I like how my red shutter kind of looks black in the light in some places. It is cool.

The wall, high wall vs low wall, has an effect on rejection. I’m pretty sure I remember hearing that.
