The iridescence of the glass dust ano
Wow! They really hooked you up.
Freaking awesome! I’m way happy for you man! I love yoyoexpert!
How do you like it? It impresses me every time I pick it up, but for some reason I don’t go to it as often as I should. Not sure why.
This plus 1000.
I’m a sucker for rim weight and extreme designs, and the Edge Beyond is a heavily rim weighted extreme design. I’ll let you figure out the rest
Haha jokes aside, there’s just something about this yoyo that feels so good to me. For now, it’s definitely a keeper.
Same here. It’s why I’m always surprised I don’t play mine more, every time I pick it up I’m reminded how good and unique it is.
I got this little guy on Monday, and can’t seem to put it down! I haven’t played responsive in quite a while, and this is also my first slimline throw. Been learning stalls, loops/regens and just all around having fun with short little combos.
Did you get your Sherpa through YoYoExpert’s Basecamp deal? (buy any Basecamp throw, get a free Sherpa).
If so, what other Basecamp did you end up picking up?
I got an Expedition and a Moonshine, and I’m in love with my Expedition!
I too have a strong preference for lots of rim weight and super powerful/stable designs. The Edge Beyond is definitely an extreme example of this, but I find it is a bit too wide for me. Not in terms of comfort or how it fits in my hand, but in the way it gets tangled in the strings too often. I’m simply not used to forcing so much space between string strands during tricks. 43-46mm is my width preference, and anything over 46mm is no bueno for me (the only exception so far being the original Edge).
I did! I got the jack knife. I didn’t have a good fingerspin yoyo, and figured why not. I love it though! I haven’t thrown it much, because I don’t typically bring my nicer throws to work so I’ve just been throwing the Sherpa. It’s just a nice step away from the more technical style and tricks of unresponsive.
You always have such nice photos of stuff man, that first one is sooooooo nice
Hey thanks man! I’ve been trying to go for a foreground/background perspective theme.
I just thought you were poking at those of us who can never seem to get the subject of the photo in focus.
My first thought was don’t sneeze and drop it.
