Luckily YYE has them in stock still so I ordered two more. I feel like the concrete is more forgiving than ceramic tile. No “hard” evidence. Just a feeling. lol. But yeah I guess it is what it is. The downfall is that S8 is no longer making tops so I believe I need to stop abusing them.

Yeah. For sure confirmed. I was just begging Maurizio last weekend for a top for nats but he can’t sell anything. Not sure all the deets but he released a statement in November that he’s closing. So all stock that’s out there is out there.

Is the thick string the original size? That snap start is great! It still eludes me though.
Both of these are home made. I went through a real thicc boi rope phase. So I ordered some from dazzling Dave to try. Mine are twisted where his are whatever you call it. I know what diameter I like, but I asked him to make me some 8 footers.

Making some revisions on my Tape Job top. This has a Quicksilver bearing tip. This one I tried to print the two pieces a little differently and it didn’t work out so it’s vibey AF but I have some ideas for next revision.

Got a big box of strings from Dazzling Dave to test. Pretty much larger sizes for larger tops. The multi color one on top right is a custom size -32 at 8 feet long

He is always willing to make them but probably won’t list them as an in stock item. He laughed at me because he almost ran out of string. He said you’re just getting whatever color I have left then lol.
