2 Rosalinda, a Gulia, and an Alice. Such great tops. These join my only other Strummol8 the Augusta.

Giulia is definitely my favorite of the smaller S8’s! You need to get you some synthetic dye for the white Rosalinda. All great tops though - shame that S8 is closed down now.

I’ve held off getting more S8 for a long time because of the price but I’m so glad I was able to get what I did. Ended up getting one more Giulia in a very tomato looking orange and one more Alice. I really like that Alice. Something about it just really appeals to my sense of satisfaction. The size/weight/density of it. So nice.

Stock is definitely dwindling…they are still available at a couple other places, one being stateside and the other in Japan…Hopefully Strummol8 is able to make a comeback and start making products again down the road!

The S8 tops are all interesting, and they were real stand outs for what you could find in the spin top world. The better I get, the more I appreciate the S8’s and the aluminum Spintastics tops.
There just doesn’t seem to be a large interest in higher end tops, and they tend to last a long time (except for Dane who throws over gravel pits or cement) so the plastic trompos seem to be the most available stuff.
I am very sad to see them stop production of the mid size models.

What “was” that top?
An S8 Sara. After some work with a file and on the lathe I got it playable. It doesn’t seem to vibe so maybe I lucked out? It’ll always have that battle scar. But that’s ok. None of my tops are damage free
