What are you spinning?

Dang!!! That’s a great point. I’m sure he’d love to see a quicksilver with a million miles on it !

Really enjoying the Short Circuits lately, landed the behind the back whip catch 4 times this evening while I was feeding the mosquitoes. So far I have had the best success with the Short Circuit, the combination of the weight and the tip shape make them a little more inclined to stay in the loop when I manage to catch it

I got this coming in a week or so.

Purple Cobras, sounds like it should be the name of a biker gang from a 70’s drive-in movie.

Sweet. Let us know how it holds up

I will. Maybe we’ll meet someday and you could check it out. I’m new to the community of Spin tops and I usually let Dazzling Dave or Mark Hayward check out my new tops when I see them.

For sure. We’ll make it a point to meet up. I do travel for work a lot but it’s always in some remote location with no signs of civilization lol. But I will be hitting more contests and stuff.

I like that store as well! Lots of cool stuff. Shipping is normally pretty quick unless it gets stuck at customs. The quickest I ever got was 5 days from order to my house…longest was 12 days!

Probably find those purp cobras here

I see the Trompos Space N8 is back in stock. For those that have the N8 and Graffiti Roller - do they feel the same. I have the Graffiti Roller and I know it is hydro-dipped , but I am trying to figure out if the N8 is hydro-dipped as well? Thanks

Not sure if it’s the same but it looks like it. They look cool but I don’t do much with bearing tops.

Yea, it does look the same from pics, but not positive! I’m probably 50/50 on bearing and fixed.

Turbo charging on the porch, still raining!

A short circuit labeled as an Elektrick

They’re both Neff’s. The black and yellow is from the 4th batch of sweetles. The wood one is from 2013, but I can’t make out what the serial number it is - I think it’s 13, but it’s pretty faded and hard to read.

I finally got to roll through Austin, NV while it was day time and dry roads, so I ripped it through the turns here. But… I took a second to throw my repaired Quicksilver. It was so windy I could barely stand up lol.

@DaneMartin , after careful study of your recent vids, I think I figured out why I don’t have the problem of broken/bent tips and sandblasted aluminum finishes. Have you ever considered surrounding yourself with pine needles and mud?

Still just top curious for now. The wife isn’t too keen on the idea of me starting on em. So patiently waiting for these gift cards that the blood center owes me… What’s the verdict on the Trompo Space ones? They have some that look pretty nice, but they seem a little pricy. Are they worth it? Or would I be better off just going with the Jumbo Cobras?
