Not a whole lot, one of the gloomier days today as the virus spreads in my county - 2 nursing homes recently had an outbreak in the area (and 6 deaths today). Finding out that our curve in CA isn’t exactly flattening, it’s just happening really slow as they now predict that this could peak in May…I was hoping to get back to work in May. Oh well, just take it a day at a time I guess.
Today also marks the first day that my pay stops and furlough begins so went on and filed for unemployment. Decided to work on some tricks but for some reason not quite feeling it today when trying to find something new to work on, combined with it being one of those days where my play is just going sloppy. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
Decided to venture on the path of diy masks as eventually I’m going to have to go out (and dust masks are like trying to find gold (or in my case, trying to find some older SPYY throws I was looking for a few weeks ago). The diy masks don’t fit right and honestly, hard to breathe for me after a while (I am an allergy sufferer so combine that with a stuffy nose). Ready to just add a thin liner to my airsoft mask and call it a day, will at least have eye protection too.
On the bright side, if things all go well, my 2 throws that are in limbo due to the virus could be shipping soon as I haven’t seen any extended dates from the state the shop is located in (I’ve been looking). If all goes well, I should have a SPYY Radian Gen 2 and a 3yo3 Omnicron X in my hands very soon. If one wonders why I specifically went for those throws, the shapes looked interesting and I wanted a spiked SPYY

Wow. Stay safe! I am furloughed too but my last check is on the 17th so I can’t apply for unemployment until after that. And talk is my resort is reopening on May 1st (14 days later). A large number of our guests are from NYC and surrounding areas. May 1st seems kinda a dreamy wish but no one really knows how this will all pan out anyway… This is now 22 days since I was last at work. Feels strange but I am used to it now and I don’t miss my job or anyone there anyway.

The park I work at went from April 7 to mid May. Now, it’s "closed until further notice.
Just realized I was to go to Disneyland next week… Definitely not happening…
