Long day at work doing physical labor - Iā€™m normally behind a computer flexing those brain muscles as I work on graphics-related projects but today, assisted in finishing up taking down all of the holiday decor at the theme park I work atā€¦My everything hurts nowā€¦

Tried to grab a yoyo this evening to try and get back into my groove with tricks but just too sore to do anythingā€¦and too tired to watch any tutorials and comprehend what I am seeing - am itching to learn a new trick for the new year. Maybe tomorrow?

Loading up an old drum set and two trumpets to take to the middle school band. Iā€™ve decided that it is time to get rid of things that are not being used and have asked the band director to get them to talented students that cannot afford instruments.

Yes. Played drums and piano through high school. Trumpet and baritone sax my senior year because the band was short on horns. Auditioned and was accepted to major on piano or percussion at a large university. Dropped out of school and was a full time musician for a few years before going back and majoring in computer science. Have a man cave full of musical instruments.

OH! iā€™m learning Cajon right now, i know some piano, and iā€™m more of a collector, but i donā€™t have many instruments at all. since iā€™m learning Cajon, iā€™m kind of in love with Percussion, i find myself tapping on a table or counter all the time. i want to learn Saxophone, but i canā€™t afford one with my current income.

First of all, I am 60, retired, and have had a lifetime to collect musical instruments. Plus, I chose to buy instruments instead of a boat, vacation home, cigarettes or alchahole. Since I had to retire early because of a head injury I sold off a bunch of instruments. StillI have a huge DW acoustic drum kit, a large Roland V-drum set, congas, timbales, cajon, several other percussion items, keyboards, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, another trumpet, flute, harmonicas, a collection of beatboxes and other electronic music devices.
