That does look pretty delicious.
Another suggestion; grate up some dubliner cheese and mold the patty around “enough cheese that a burger should have”. So when you bite into the burger, you get the dubliner cheese melty goodness with the beefy goodness.
PS: I’m a foodie of a very high degree.
I have had exclusively poor experiences putting cheese into my burgers. I’ve tried all different rations of cheese to meat and always felt like it was either too little or too much, but a slice on top always seemed right. /shrug. I have a deep love for beef. Usually will eat one of the patties prior to making up the burgers for myself and the fam. Then reserve one for breakfast the next morning. My heart hates me I’m sure.
Beef is simply amazing. One of the best “beef experiences” I’ve ever had didn’t involve beef at all, but mink whale (was in Iceland where they still hunt these whales, but do it exceedingly sustainability).
So a mink whale steak. It has the texture of what I can only describe as a well done filet mignon. Not tough, not chewy, but smooth and even. The taste? Like beef but… If the taste of beef is a strong grip, mink whale is a light caress.
Almost drooled a little. Sounds delicious. I always said fresh tuna was the beef of the ocean. If I ever get to try a whale steak maybe it would change my mind.
Go to Iceland. Try their lamb (omg so good) and their hot dogs (holy crap good), and you can try foods like puffin and whale (both really really good).
Gotta start pooping money first. Then buy a lightsaber. Then a bunch more yoyos. Pay off the mortgage. Maybe get the wife a car and the kid a college fund. THEN… THEN I’ll go to Iceland, lol.

Decided to drive 85 miles to the nearest city and go shopping today(New Year’s Day). Stopped at Chik-fil-et … Closed. Went to Costco. … Closed. Ended up at Target. Never thought about stores and restaurants closing today.
Spent yesterday playing Descent with the Mrs. Gonna spend today catching up on some mini painting and then, cats willing, get some yoyo practice in . (Whenever I pick up a yoyo, one of them gets SUPER NEEDY and runs in front of me for attention.)
Yeah that’s always a culture shock to me whenever we go out of NYC, especially on your average Sunday. By contrast, neither of us felt like cooking lunch and we just ordered takeout
