Almost drooled a little. Sounds delicious. I always said fresh tuna was the beef of the ocean. If I ever get to try a whale steak maybe it would change my mind.

Go to Iceland. Try their lamb (omg so good) and their hot dogs (holy crap good), and you can try foods like puffin and whale (both really really good).

Gotta start pooping money first. Then buy a lightsaber. Then a bunch more yoyos. Pay off the mortgage. Maybe get the wife a car and the kid a college fund. THEN… THEN I’ll go to Iceland, lol.

Decided to drive 85 miles to the nearest city and go shopping today(New Year’s Day). Stopped at Chik-fil-et … Closed. Went to Costco. … Closed. Ended up at Target. Never thought about stores and restaurants closing today.

Spent yesterday playing Descent with the Mrs. Gonna spend today catching up on some mini painting and then, cats willing, get some yoyo practice in :joy:. (Whenever I pick up a yoyo, one of them gets SUPER NEEDY and runs in front of me for attention.)

Yeah that’s always a culture shock to me whenever we go out of NYC, especially on your average Sunday. By contrast, neither of us felt like cooking lunch and we just ordered takeout :joy:

Yeah it’s all the smoke is blowing in from the east coast. We’ve been copping it pretty bad for the last few weeks; can’t go outside without getting chocked up it’s pretty rough.

That really sucks. I have a buddy in New Zealand and she was sending me pics of the sky from her place. Orange sky. Makes me think of Mad Max.
