What are you doing today?

I looked up pics of Marks and it looked more like a Macy’s or something, but that sounds a lot like Target actually. Minus the tuxedos.

Either way, you look fly.

I have a suit simply because one is required for job interviews. I’ll never get a tuxedo though, I just couldn’t do that to myself.

I think it was useful as I’m 32 now and there is so many weddings to go to and a lot of them are formal wear.
Also there is the annual Christmas party before taking into account other times when you need one.
I think it’s an environment thing too though. I live in UK so it’s more useful here than in America probably.

I don’t know about a tux…but I always wished I had an excuse to wear a nice suit everyday.

I should have pointed out that it’s only my opinion. But I realise now that it really depends on your surrounding. I have handful of occasions a year to wear one where wearing a suit doesn’t quite cut it. And it becomes an effortless go to outfit.

I used to have to wear suits to work. Now it’s all casual clothing and I don’t miss it one bit to be honest.

I’m almost 37 and also live in the UK, I just don’t like the formality of a tuxedo.

Ah fair enough
I mentioned my age because between late 20’s through to basically your age is when everyone seems to be getting married so a lot of weddings every year.

Last night’s theme for the party was burlesque so most people went with something like me and some fancy dress too.

Pretty fun night overall

I used to have to wear dress clothes to work. Got my tie caught in a CPU fan once building a server. Broke the blade right off. Didn’t have a spare the same type, or even anything I could take apart and adapt, so I cut off two more blades to balance it. It actually worked better :man_shrugging:

It’s also stupid hot all the time. People who say otherwise and robots!

Pretty sure they totally stole the name from me and I should be receiving royalties!

Now that I think about it…this would drive me crazy!

Still, I wish I had some reasons to wear a suit at least once in awhile.

It was a quad CPU machine—way before multicore CPUs—and the CPU with the “modded” fan stayed cooler and the fan actually lasted longer, only one I didn’t eventually have to replace.

Being dressed nice is such a HUGE confidence booster.

I remember when I bought myself a whole new wardrobe for college. Nice pants, button up shirts, quality shoes…and man! It was amazing how high I held my head with the new spiffy clothes! lol…I never realized just how great it felt to dress up. I felt so damn good!

This is true. Especially if it fits just right.
