It’s likely made worse because of the time of year. Whether it’s the memories of going back to school after summer and seeing friends/getting back into the routine, thanksgiving/Christmas time with family, there are a lot of positive associations people have with this time of year that they miss engaging in now that they’re older and often less involved with friends and family as they were when they were younger. Combine that with it getting dark earlier and the cold and bad weather and you’re gonna have a bad time.
I just do my best to find things to occupy my mind and distract me when I get in my head too much.
i don’t get this it seems like it only happens with yoyos like if i were to buy a Kendama i feel like it’d arrive on time but with yoyos they seem to take a really long time to be delivered and they sometimes come and they are either B-grades or they arrive damaged
Just had an eye exam…my old glasses are shot and my eye sight is pretty bad (I couldn’t pass the eye test to renew my driving license /grrrr).
Found out that I’m developing cataracts and I’m at a high risk of developing glaucoma…
But the good news is that with my new prescriptions I’ll be right at the threshold of being able to get a new driver’s license…
Plus they’re going to contact my insurance company for me, but they’re pretty sure that everything (the exam, frames and lenses!) will be completely covered so I won’t have to pay anything out of pocket!
Pretty sure ths is a sign that I need to spend that money I would’ve payed on glasses…on more green yo-yos instead! lol
I probably bring this up WAY too often here. About how my mom passed away a couple of years ago.
But man…for the first year after her passing, I was a wreck.
But over the course of this past year, dang I’ve grown by leaps and bounds!
And especially over these past few months! I’ve been SO on top of things and it feels great!
There’s some big hurdles and difficulties I’m going through right now…but I’m doing a great job of not letting them hold me down!
And I’m taking some HUGE strides to securing an amazing career. The process is slow, but it’s going to happen and I’m staying on top of it all!
It’s just damn nice being able to do this whole ‘adult’ thing without feeling overwhelmed! I’ve been organized, I’ve been responsible and I’ve been following through on everything.
Today I’m on top of my life and if feels freaking great!
