I miss having my parents aroundā¦haha, even though I lived on my own in my own appartment, there was many months I wouldnāt have to spend a penny on groceries.
They were doing better than they ever had financially right before my mom passedā¦she dug them out of a pretty deep hole over the years and theyād just paid off both cars and got caught up on medical bills.
And I was SPOILED! hahaā¦my mom was always cooking me and my dad stuffā¦and me and my mom liked to joke that when I did grocery shopping, I did it at their home lol. I was always taking gallons of milk, bread, chipsā¦everything lolā¦from them home with me.
My mom encouraged it thoughā¦sheād often stock the fridge and cupboards with things only I liked knowing Iād take it home with me <3.
That and anytime something came upā¦my mom without question would pay it off for me. Or thereād be times Iād check my bank account only to see that my mom had deposited $50-$100 in there for meā¦lol
Damn life was easier back then! /sigh
My mom was awesome.

Fortunately the situation went about as well as it could. I think the guy had a heart attack and I was the person in charge at the library because my director is away.
The guy left in an ambulance but was alert at the time he left.

Itās awesome to have a job, but donāt forget I take advantage of the freedom you have now! I got my first job at 16 as an expo at a chiliās. Great times, but I quickly began to miss not being obligated to be at work immediately after school

Went to dinner with a couple of friends. Was able to catch up with my super old lady friend (haha I love giving her a hard time about her age) who I havenāt seen all summer. That was really nice. I need to start hanging out with her moreā¦sheās got this super cute tiny dog that I love lol.
Also made plans with my dad. Will be heading to Boise Idaho this weekend to go visit him for awhile.

Yea I love it. I also have 3 of them. I think it may be my favorite of all 3. With EB 66 a close second. Shutter 66 I think is my 3rd favorite only because its not as heavy as the other EB or Sleipnir 66. Thinking about getting the Barracuda next. But they all play really well. I also have the Loonie and these are in another level compared to the Loonie. Was very disappointed with the Loonie. Also got the Kun coming in. I love these smaller undersized throws.

Took a trip to visit and stay with my dad for awhile and showed him my collection of throws. He really enjoyed it when I was into the hobby 15āish years ago and is excited that Iāve jumped back into it.
Then I just casually started to throw around one of my babes throwsā¦and Iām usually a nervous wreck when I try and do anything skilled based in front of others.
Heck no though! I guess all them hours of repeated practice has indeed helped out! lolā¦I was nailing everything!
I mean I donāt know anything very hard yetā¦but Iām still happy! Nailed a Kwyjibo for him, hit a combo iām trying to get consistentā¦did 6 or 7 popānāfresh which felt great, did a slack trapeze into rewindā¦gyro flop, cold fusion, gondolaā¦landing them all first try without breaking a sweat!

It just feels so cool when you nail things like that. I feel like such an idiot when I try doing things in front of people and screw up lol.

Oof I had a crazy weekend. Iām a commercial electrician and received a 2AM emergency call Saturday morning. A high rise flooded and water was getting into some pretty serious electrical equipment. I ended up cutting power to a sixteen story residential building before anything could explode. After letting things dry out overnight, I went back first thing this morning.
Hereās me testing the wire insulation integrity
And restoring power
Got home in time to throw this post together, toss some jos with my fam, and make a few strings(incoming! @adamantiumpops)
