Based on what I see in your videos I thought you lived in a sprawling flat with lots of space to spare.
My wife and i have a lot of creative solutions…
We have a transformable play ground in my hallway
Trapeze, swing and ladder, pullup station and white board art center.
High traffic hallway
Just ordered a Honor Special 20 “C” harmonica. Time to search YouTube for lessons.
Pedantic, but they aren’t actually twins, just sisters.
I love my Hohner Golden Melody. I only like harmonicas in G. I found online lessons good to a point but once I got past the blows, draws, and bending notes I was off on my own. I listened to old blues players I liked and tried to figure out what they were doing and then started making up my own stuff. I never had an interest in learning “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain.”
Fired this up last night, the final disc of the final season. We’ve been through the series before and likely will again, but wrapping up a great show is always bittersweet.
I have the boxset too. Tied with Seinfeld for my all-time sitcom. You should check out the original UK veries. Very different, humor-wise and worth watching to see the true origins of a lot of the US versions of the characters.
Before going to see “The New Mutants” in the theater at the mall I looked around FYE and saw these yoyos.
Woke up to some rather weird skies this morning due to the CA wildfires… Car covered in ash too.
These pix were taken around 10am this morning (my house is still very dark inside)
Agreed, both are among my top sitcoms of all time. My wife and I actually wrote a blog post on our favorites and both The Office and Seinfeld are ones we agreed on. Not sure any others are quite on the same level for me. If any, It’s Always Sunny.
We enjoyed the UK original, mainly because we really like Ricky Gervais. We didn’t get quite as hooked, but that also had a super brief run. The holiday special was my favorite of the lot.
Then whatch it again damn it. Seriously though, GREAT show!
Coffee first.
Then time to grind on my Scales submission.
Reading this thread when I need to open a spreadsheet at work.
Raining here. Green leaves are taking on a faint yellowish tint. Going for breakfast at 10 with a friend who was laid off (let go) from work in March. I saw “The New Mutants” in a theater yesterday. It was pretty good. It was a set-up for a new franchise. I saw “Tenet” last week. Pretty boring with a hard to follow plot that just seemed to meander.
Smoky skies here so not a whole lot going on - checked in on a Gamestop order that was due out yesterday for delivery but is currently just hanging out at post office (for the love of whoever you worship, please don’t touch UPS Mail Innovation). Just mildly annoyed about this especially when I saw I could have just picked the game up today at Walmart.
Despite the smoky skies, been itching to try out my knock-off nickel board today after pulling it out of storage last week, forgot how fun this thing was. Wasn’t out for long but I took it around the corner and learned how to pump on it - a technique borrowed from surfing (which I’ve never surfed) to pick up speed without a single push.
Lastly, helped my brother assemble/set up his workbench.
Oh my, sorry for the super belated reply! My reef aquarium is doing awesome, I have to take some updated photos…
But in the meantime, Alice (Spottedbanana) and I have been preoccupied with our son who was born just last month! Sorry everyone for not replying to messages, things have been a bit busy. I wouldn’t normally share random baby photos, but this one is somewhat relevant to this crowd.
(He’s working on his sleeper…)
