Werrd YoYos

Hey guys I’m from Australia and wanting to buy an Aussie made metal throw… I’ve found Werrd website and it has a beautiful throw called the hour 12k or something like that but it doesn’t have a link to purchase.

Does anyone know if these guys still operate? It looks like they have some killer stuff!

I haven’t seen anything from Werrd in years. To the best of my knowledge they’re not longer an active company. I’m sure you can find some of their yoyos on the bst though!

I’ve got an xxxl I’d be willing to trade. My favorite was the Rosar great throw.

They used to sponsor Doc Pop back in the day. In fact that’s where I first got to throw Beefcake.

Thanks guys! Sounds like they are a think of the past- it’s a shame!

Does anyone know any other Aussie metal yoyo makers?

Yes…

Ben from Yoyofactory.

He is an Aussie, and he makes yoyos.

By the way… Werrd was not a ‘they’.

It was more of a ‘he’… Stuart Brown.

The last time I talked to Stu; he told me he ‘wasn’t don’t yet’.

I found that most interesting…

No way!!! I didn’t know he was Aussie… I’ve heard the YYF blokes spoken about with reverence. I hope they get interviewed on the yo-yo podcast one day…

I’ve just emailed YYF today asking about a specific yo-yo profile I’m after…

Thanks heaps Doc! I’ll keep an eye out for any news on Werrd!
