Like the title says, what’s a yoyo you have owned that’s weirdly fragile?
Like, breathe on it wrong and it breaks,

Yomega Brain, incredibly easy to crack the brain half of the YoYo from a slight overtighten, especially the really old ones. Them boys gettin brittle
Also inb4 Replay Pro bearing seat failure
I broke multiple replays with that bearing seat. Also did I mention bending axles for some reason???
Terrarize. Amazing performance but the bearing seat ruins bearings sadly and is easily damaged.
Damn… I was gonna buy one eventually..

The old Starlite from Yoyofactory would break on its own over the years without any need to hit it…
The GiTD Northstar??? I better be more careful with mine then lol
I think the Starlight was the Protostar? But yeah that era of YYF plastic was wildly fragile. My OG NorthStar cracked just sitting in the case.
Any injected molded plastic with press fit metal components will crack from thermal expansion of the metal.
I have half/dozen northstar/starlites explode on my shelf
I don’t think the Starlite had metal rings but I can’t remember for sure. Good to know little fun fact tho.
Ex….explode?! ![]()
All of them! I’m told I’m supposed to throw them down and but then they shatter! Idk why they all come with string tho
Pro tip: the string sometimes helps prevent them from hitting the ground.
People keep say that but how?! What does this mean?! I leave the string on the yoyo, but it still keeps shattering!
They tying it in a nice bow around the bearing, that could help.
At least it will make it feel pretty as it bounces around the sidewalk
Ah! Silly me, I was just wrapping the string around the bearing. Nobody told me to tie the string around the bearing in a bow.
Well, now I feel silly
Well, we all gotta start somewhere. Don’t beat yourself up too much.
In the old, how to be a player video, Steve Brown walks into a room, and Chris Neff is messing around with a yo-yo he made out of glazed donuts.
That yo-yo looked pretty fragile.
They didn’t show it in the video, but Neff had a bright idea of lubing the yo-yo with a glass of milk.
On the first throw, he ended up eating it.
A sad day in yo-yo history.
