Okay, so this is my first metal yoyo, and Ive been playing a good six months, and moved through the Andre trick tutorials on this sight fairly quickly. So I got my dv888 today in the mail and was really excited to start to play. Being extremely addictive I played with it a good four hours, and when I came back to it its EXTREMELY responsive. Like no suicides for me.
Anyone have any tips, or advice?

Maybe the bearing’s not fully broken in. Just keep on throwing it.

Take the yo-yo apart. Flick the bearing with your finger. How long does it spin and what does it sound like? If it quiet you should keep playing with it to break it in or clean it. If it sounds loud or like there is a rough spot you should add some oil to the bearing.
