So I was wondering how to wash string cuz I heard it lasts longer if you wash it. I was thinking just washing it with like water but I preferred to ask before doing it because that’s how I thought you cleaned bearings too…
Throw it in the washer, then just put it in the dryer.
This technique is used on old used string, not brand new string. Most of the time the reason the string gets old is because it gets dirt/skin/build up on the string. So once you get a pile of old used string, leave it in the pocket of your jeans when they get thrown in the wash and it will help remove some of the built up gunk.
