Just gotta go for it man :slight_smile: Start yo-yoing in public and you’ll get asked, and look around for after school programs, tell them you want to do a demo for the kids, tell them a little bit about yo-yos and teach them a few tricks (bring some loaners) it’s fun, easy, and after the first one you’ll be getting lots of calls if you do a good job and don’t swear in front of the kids or anything haha :slight_smile:

No kidding; too many kids in my town complain about there being nothing to do, so showing them that they can pick up a toy/hobby for very little money and actually do some cool stuff and get to know people goes a long way with these kids.

Thanks Stephen, I believe that trick is called spiders web, basically a two handed star and then you flip the yo-yo over the two strings that are on your freehand to make the web; a kid requested it by name, i was surprised :slight_smile:

Thanks Derek, I probably do one a month, depends on how much activity is going on around town, I do a lot more during the summer, I use them to promote the local yo-yo club.

I can just imagine the Geico Caveman shaking his head in disgust :slight_smile:
