Also, yes the numbers were 0-89
There were 3 B Grades and two splash anodized purple/blue and clear ones.

Glad to see old #19 still on the boards here. Seems I was one of the rare fools who actually got rid of theirāsā¦ I purchased a 2nd hand as well though, so evidently I wasnāt the only bozo out there to do it lol. Man Iād sure love to see if that polish I put on the rims and cups and the satin catch zone are all still in place, and how the patina has gotten to look on it after all these years. Thereās just something that truly escapes my attempts to describe the look and feel of polished titanium and how it stands so clearly distinct from any aluminum alloy Iāve ever seenā¦ Plus the effect that polishing had on the annealed text turned out to be a super cool effect, almost lightening it up to a goldish but purplish kind of glossy sheen that was wholly unique in its own right. I was, however, quite sad that I couldnāt rightly replicate the texture of the raw machined finish when I went back to work the satin into the catch zone once the surface was worked to a high sheen.
Ahhh hereās that familiar nostalgic longing setting in. Guess thatās what I get not 10 minutes after popping back on the old YYE forums, after who knows how many years itās beenā¦ Good to be back, guys! Nice to see yāall still holding it down lol

The cups are still polished, but I sanded the rest. As for the patina, it simply doesnāt exist. I donāt think it developed one over time. Or maybe it was polished again by a previous owner. Itās probably as shiny as the last day you had it.
The bad news is, the sanding process gave it a terrible vibe. I shouldnāt have tinkered with it, but Iām OCD, and one of the rims had been terribly damaged.
The good news, on the other hand, is that it still plays pretty well. The wonderful yoyodoc managed to improve the situation a great deal, reducing the vibe by a lot. Perhaps, Iāll be able to improve it even more in the future if I manage to figure out what is causing the issue.

Yessir, that was me! I had my sprees like that with a few companies (CLYW and ILYY were probably 2nd and 3rd, respectively) right before the industry really blew up and new models started dropping, it seemed, every month or less, and it was just no longer feasible to keep up with my 1-of-each-model-to-date mode of collecting the brands I was intoā¦
Through the whole of my collecting days, though, my (at one time, literal) tower of YYR was always what I considered my high water mark. All that remains of that tower are my 5 Clashes (2 ā10s, 2ā 11s, and a '12 - it just ended up being my favorite model of theirās by a good bit), and then the mirror polished e=mc2 that I still wouldnāt mind letting go of for a reasonable price.

Hell yeah dude, thatād be awesome! I know that vibe though. I got too heavy handed polishing up a raw Gleipnir one day and it made for a wobble I could practically feel in my knees. Thatās a hell of an anxiety there, once it becomes apparent. Quite glad to hear itās in good working order once more though. Iād love to see it anytime you get a chance.
