Contest details
Beginner/Intermediate Division is a 1min Sport 1a Freestyle.
1a Pro Division will include a 1min Prelim as well as a 2min Finals Freestyle.
X Division can include any combination of non-1a styles in a 2min freestyle.
All freestyles will be judged according to National YoYo League contest scoring criteria.

Planning on being there! Not competing, just spectating. I’ve never been to a contest before, so I’m curious about what to expect… Is most of the event spent watching freestyles, or is there some spare time to just hang out and play yoyo with people? Will the sponsors have booths to try stuff out? Do people trade yoyos? Thanks in advance, I’m looking forward to it.

Depends on the contest not 100% on the layout as different folks running it but there’s vendor booths and a stage and seating and space to YoYo.
Also some folks trade or bring stuff to give out or sell from their bag.
Obviously contest is main focus but side events sometimes play out or just an impromptu game of fixie horse or whatever.
It’s basically YoYo club meet up but bigger and there’s a stage and event thing happening
