Snagged a clyw campfire from the YoYo expert booth (nearly got an unknown bag but I stoppped myself) a recess joyride and a Jake bullock slappa ss (almost grabbed a dunk lx for that pom goodness but was tapped out ) so many fun throws there including a few protos I’m excited for later this year from folks like motion.
Also thank you @Slestak75 and cliff for reuniting me with that decade. I have no words for the emotions I felt seeing it again.
My wife and kids went next door while I was doing fun YoYo stuff and they played at the children’s museum so we all had an awesome day. Sadly I’m getting old and was beat by the end so I skipped the after party dinner and ate lunch with my family after dealing with a few errands that popped up.
Got to give Iona credit for coordinating and running the event. It’s a thankless job and I’m so happy they stepped up to get it going. I can only hope my plans for a DC area contest later this year can live up even slightly to what VA states pulled off.
