video yoyo reviews are boring. i like my reviews typed out. or, better yet, carved into a log somewhere. maybe even done on a chalk board and then captured with a flip phone camera. just tossing ideas around here.

I really don’t like the names of most yo-yo’s. Newest example is the Kapital a yo-yo from yo-yo factory. They make sure you know they made in the US 
but has a very Russian name and artwork 
. Just an example.
Its a toy. Name it something fun or silly. The Chopsticks Gorilla, Big Fun, Dumpster Fire(it’s silly).
Just my opinion. Probably unpopular.

Yeah I sort understand the Kapital name I think.
Makes me think of the Marxist book about Neoliberalism and the exploitation of workers.
And the exploitation of workers is why it’s manufactured in the US???
Too political and not as fun as you said.
How about “Glusterball” or “tremorous”
Means nothing and does not get in the way of my throwing.

Yes I like the looks. But the graphics and name will make me not want it. And with the variety on yo-yo expert alone, I feel ok with passing on one with a weird name or graphic, or different bearing sizes, or response system…

IMO the Draupnir is the most disappointing bimetal I ever played, maybe even moreso than the CLYW Wildfire. The Hummingbird is everything the Draupnir should’ve been
