SPARK YOUR DANG VAYDER CHAd
You would like that wouldn’t you? Good thing I’m not a people pleaser
for 1 second there i went into full blown “purple people eater” which is not the same as people pleaser, but its such a catchy song.
I’ll be sparking my Vayder day 1. Sparking is cool and you all know it.
I think overly wide yo-yos are wack. I understand that technically a wider catch zone is beneficial but I think there’s a point at which the wider catch zone ceases to be increasingly useful, and the overall width no longer makes horizontal easier.
Not making the argument that they are more difficult to manipulate through complex string tricks as that’s more just a matter of skill.
Same, I am not a fan of disproportionately wide yoyos.
My controversial opinion would be how companies steel eachother’s Ideas and rebrand them and even though the idea is great even better than the original at the end of the day it is still stealing and sadly it puts the companies who have unique ideas out of business…also have been thinking or rather noticing there are like 5 or six actually unique designs and after that they are all regurgitated replicas of eachother…don’t beleive the hype!!! What do I know though…I still buying gonna keep buying yo-yos!!!
So true that most designs just look like a knockoff of an already successful model. But I don’t have a problem with it frankly, let everyone make a knockoff Original Freehand and put their logo, response system, bearing, etc. on it.
Tape measure is a better dismount than flyaway
Haha yeah I saw that this morning! Awesome vid. If you’re doing that, I get it. But I wouldn’t be and most people aren’t. So I’d just be intentionally damaging a super valuable piece.
I’ll leave the sparking to you videographers who can make it look hella cool lol.
Pff that is why they made the Ricochet, for sparking purposes…
Be nice
I have to disagree mainly on this. I would just call that competition.
There’s a name for a ‘‘unique idea’’ based business that goes down; an unsuccessful business. A unique product and a successful product don’t always go hand in hand.
If its overly wide 50+ mm they gotta be done right or its just not good
A lot of people approach yoyo design or yoyo purchasing with a particular spec sheet in mind, but tbh honestly imho the only way to know if you like a yoyo is to spend time with it and stuff.
I kind of see where you’re coming from, and you’re kind of right. But some people just know what they like.
I will admit, that I have been thoroughly surprised by designs that I initially had very little if any interest in. The Kuntosh being one of them. I did not think I was going to like it at all based on specs alone, but it’s turned out to be one of my favorites.
There are certain design specs that I for certain know that I don’t like though. That mainly has to do with shape though.
CLYW makes several throws that are sluggish and not particularly stable.
I don’t like snow tires, thus I don’t like any CLYW
