I think I am philosophically opposed to wood threads. It’s just too hinky. Especially when we have perfectly good and well established aluminum hub + wood sleeve solutions for this in the No Jives etc.
It feels like “we used 100% wood just for the sake of using 100% wood” and the results are… unsatisfying. To me at least.
