Curious, do many people use type 8 string anymore?
I notice I can’t really find it around and I hear mostly about type 6.
I always liked the snappier feeling of type 8 and it had a nicer feel to me.
Yes, I use it almost exclusively. I prefer it over slick 6, which tends to dig into my fingers more.
A lot of people make type 8 strings they just don’t call it that.
