Top YoYos of 2019

I understand that the YYE Awards thread covers this a bit, but it’s only one mono and one bi and not everyone is picking 2019 releases.

So list your top 5 yo-yos that were released this year and later on I can determine a YYE top 5 by assigning values based on placement and having a final score for each yo-yo that shows up on multiple lists frequently.

Also feel free to list yo-yos you don’t own. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be “the best yo-yos” it could also be stuff like most unique or significant releases.

Mine:

  1. Bimetal Shutter
  2. Titanium Wide Angle
  3. Ti-Vayder
  4. World Champion Wide Angle
  5. Sunrise

Honorable mention: Grasshopper GTX

Has to be 2019 releases. And doesn’t have to be yo-yos you own.

I’m pretty sure these are all 2019 releases, order is just my gut feeling. I only own 2 of these.

  1. Butter
  2. Ti-Vayder
  3. Diffraction 2
  4. Endgame
  5. Death Adder

Honorable Mention: Sunrise

I thought about throwing the Diffraction out there. It was incredibly well received for a first full run (I believe, might be wrong @MarkD) from a new company.

Maybe I should update my post with significant releases from this year.

Yep, the 2018 run was 11 units only, v2 was 61 units.

I’m going to have to spend some time thinking about 2019 releases… lots of great stuff this year.

Not in any particular order…

  1. G2 Banshee SS (don’t own)
  2. 2SickYoYos Endgame
  3. Duncan Tourney
  4. Ti-Vayder (don’t own)
  5. Bimetal Shutter (don’t own)

The Tourney is one of my favorites that I own. It’s not the highest performing (that goes to my AL7 Banshee)…but dang it feels good to throw around.

I’m lucky enough to make exactly what I want and don’t try a ton of other yo-yos but this is my list of what I pick up most often that was made in 2019.

1 - Campaign Normal
2 - Banshee SS
3 - Respawn
4 - Campaign Easy
5 - Jensen sent me this wooden yo-yo I really like. Not sure on its name

I forgot when we made the Life right now but I still pick that up a ton too

Everyone has forgotten, or wasn’t lucky enough to get, the best release of 2019…the CoreCo Qubit. Such a great little yoyo, so much personality.
