Decided im going to throw my hat in the ring for titanium anodizations. This will be a log showing my work and progress in the technique. Feedback appreciated
I think im at the point now where i would be willing to do ano for other. Feel free to pm me.
Cool…Nice work.
This could be an Epic Fail, but try using compressed air to splatter anno-dye onto the yoyo.
Dip a small sharp pointy object into the acid-dye (or masking glue) and blow it off with an air tool of choice. Or use a soggy Q-Tip for an opposite effect. Tool choices, depth, and pressure make a difference.
Test fire some dye onto something other than yoyos like white paper and see what happens…Fun. Compressed air is how I obtained the white splatter paint effect.
Not really sure!
Consistency is difficult. Seems pull of the moon and color of my shirt has an effect. I can hit the spectrum i want, but exact colors are tough.
Im going to try the same thing on a spark o matic 5000 tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
