Like ya said, 99% of the time, it IS something shady. Unfortunately the dead relative inheritance is a common go to for scammers. 
I guess the PSA is to mind who youโre dealing with. Anytime ya buy something on the web youโre assuming a certain amount of risk, factor said risk in.

Just to throw my tuppence in the mix, but this is such a low threshold to pass. We are talking about criminal offences being committed, not just someone โgetting ripped-offโ.
Iโm sure we all work hard for what we have, so why is it so easy to join what should be a safe forum and scam people so quickly.
Iโve never used the BST, so forgive my lack of understanding, but surely the bar should be set higher? Member for four weeks before being able to buy and six months before being able to sell, plus the requirements to contribute and play an active part?
If a new member is genuinely interested in the hobby, theyโll stick around and I sure theyโll be a lot less people using stories of dead uncles thrice removed/dogs needing brain transplants/one off ultra-rare-original-platinum-coated-first-edition-titanium Peaks to commit criminal offences.

To sidebar for a second here. I read this for some reason as โJust to throw my tupperware in the mixโ at first.
Then I started thinking of like a social gathering, everyone hanging out, and at the very end, someone pulls an empty tupperware container out of their bag and is like โtime to get going, load 'er up.โ
Really more like a โthrow my hat in the ringโ or โtwo centsโ kind of scenario, but I am totally going to start using this non-saying. Letโs make it a thing.
