Living life now with the privileged
When your life was a privilege
When hustling on the street
Was not enough for you to eat
You had to lie, cheat, and pillage
But you remained undeterred
Flew free as a bird
Going harder than Vince Carter’s Knee cartilages
There was a young man from Nantucket,
A haiku by offstring-stewart
Judge of a dark time
No wise man dares to break rules
For he is the law

This much is true
But violets are purple
They are not blue
I went to poop
There was no toilet paper
I searched in a loop
And said I’ll wipe it later

I wanna join in a poetry slam! Lol! Here it goes!
This strand connects me to a beast
Who cannot be compared, to say the least
It is not my own doing, I am just a pawn
It uses me from dusk to dawn,
And what is it that let’s me go
From it’s hand powerful throw
Spinning splendor silences all
From a crowd spectators call
“What is this grand machine you use!”
Or “May I try” to which I can’t refuse
“It is broken!” They say with pain
I cause their patience to slowly drain
The beast controls my every move
And the strand flys through my single groove
I’m not simple you must not jerk
To know my secret is to make me work.
