Does he rub the string along the edge of the magnifying glass hard and fast enough to cause the string to heat up enough to snap from the friction?

Jokes are always apreciated. I’m actually referring to the topic of whether a string cutter is usefull or not and things like that. I’d give the OP 10 stars if he said “I found this old yoyojam letter opener/string cutter” because I think its a nice collectors item. Are the days of tutorials on stone washing your titanium in the dryer and the comparisons between inverted starburst vs raised starbust as a responce system gone?
