Well this is neat.
I used to have a Septopus, Flying Hutt and a Skywalker!
The Ti was always out of reach!
Haven’t bought a new throw since I left after releasing the Vitality.
Looks like I found that “new” throw to bring me back!
@HVizier … please… for the love of all things holy… if you ever do VsN again… Septopus…
idk if you remember me, but I was a diehard fan for my old Leg #4.
So many talk and tout the Ti-Walker as one of the greatest throws… but for me, it was the Septopus.
The only throw even remotely comparable to it in feel and float was the SW Royale.
Love seeing a project like this end up panning out!
Flow groove and snow tires wouldn’t fit in the Vayder. If you want to use one drop response, buy their slim 19mm version of the flow groove. Otherwise any YoYoFactory pad that says 19mm will work. Also welcome back man!
Thank you for the links!
I didn’t even know OD made Slim versions!
That’s excellent! (I have an OD tattoo on my right hand lol, huge fan of theirs in the past and licensed the SE system for my own release years ago!)
I appreciate these links, and I’m sure others will as well!
Mine came. 112 - I opened it on live IG - I downplayed what happened because I support this project.
Bearing was oiled? and there was dirt/lint on the inside. sum light scuffing, i’m not a collector so I don’t care. I’m not posting this to start a conversation. I don’t want to return it or want anything - I am okay with it as each one of these needed to be tuned. Can someone shed some light on the process of the finishing? - pads, bearings, axles tuning?
Sorry if my post about axle nipples if it was offensive, I would comparatively say no talk of stripping either.
Love it great throw, plays much different than the tiWalker. it reminds me of a smaller jap tech throw- maybe like a yoyomonster. or something shinji would throw
(1A) - not like his paranoid but titanium properties are heavier than aluminum but we can go to .47 versus 6061 to 1.5 mil spec thickness before ductility and tensile strength are void.
This was an awesome project and I’m very thankful for everyone. Heath, I addressed the opportunity for redemption on IG when I did my live unbox. You have put the project in the hands of YYE and there is accountability for the profit in which Andres nonprofit organization will receive the gross profit. And to me that is righting a wrong that you’ve endured for seven years.
Coding, thanks for the seemingly endless amount of work you do, giving us the community the information and fusing it all together.
There’s a couple of reasons why I can think of to justify 388 as a great number to pull. I can form my birthday with it(3/8+8), which while not 316, is pretty nice. I consider the number 8 to be lucky, so 88 is double lucky. 388 looks a lot like 888, so triple lucky. I consider things in threes to be important, so 388=3x88=888888, so sextuple lucky!
