The Ti-Vayder Experience

Have you owned a Ti-walker? I’m curious as to how the vayder and walker could play so differently even though the vayder is a clone.

Thanks man

Ya know i kinda wanted grey and i got raw…

Sure would be nice to have one to carry around and not worry about…

Pretty tough to find something this nice at this price…

Once theyre gone, theyre gone…

…you talked me into it. Buying another

Just FYI we are running a little low on raw colorway so if raw Ti is important to your conception of who you are as a person … you may want to order that within the next 30 days.

When they are gone, they are gone.

Actually it’s not a c-l-o-n-e.

It’s just c-l-o-s-e.

The Vayder plays better.

But that is not shading the Ti-Walker.

The Walker was 7 years ago… and the Vayder simply retuned the design.

Very fortunate too. Because if it didn’t end up playing better; then somebody would be saying, ‘Well; I’ll be a Monkeys’ Uncle’.

Well they are 3D scanned to the gram and millimeter to be identical. The only difference is standard silicone slim pads, and slightly wider gap. So the gap might be the only thing making it better.

I was fully aware of that before I posted… Because you already told me that🤔

But altering the gap and the response obviously keeps them from being identical/clones. Clones; by nature of definition; means identical in every way. That; they are not…

And the simple fact that they play better than the originals; lends to the recognition of that reality.

Got my Ti Vayder yesterday but only found the time to post about it today. Got #299 and #375. Pretty nice numbers I would say. My order number was also real nice, #1111

It came with some vibe already so the half swap wasn’t smooth but half swapping didn’t seem to affect the vibe too much so it’s fine (just a very slight increase but as I said it’s cool :sunglasses:). Also decided to keep the both numbered halves and play with the unengraved ones. As of now I’m not blown away by it but I’m gonna give it some time and maybe stop playing it with sucky regular kitty (it really hurts my finger when I throw anything with regular kitty except my loopers, didn’t want to buy other types cos I want a string that works with both my loopers and my 1A throws). I’m hoping it will grow on me and I’ll be using the unengraved one as my edc for now. Will post about my thoughts when I have given it more time. Thanks so much to @codinghorror and @HVizier and @AndreBoulay for making this happen and giving me my first (two) titanium(s). Really glad I finally have a part of yoyo history.

You should try the strings they came with. They are worlds better than kitty IMO.

What version did they come with? I have every version from string labs

Red is Plutonium, and the blue and green are Type X.

Yeap, both of them did. I can kinda feel it slightly on the string. You are one very lucky boi

You will be good, mine is a trip straight to smooth city. Occasionally with an off throw it’s got a tiny bit but that’s on me.
