Is anyone noticing these odd marks near the hub? Are these scratches or more like ano stuff?

Try acetone. It won’t remove the coating, but it cleans real gud. I tried a nail polish splatter that didn’t go well and after I cleaned it off, it looked a lot better than before I started.
