I don’t know that I’m more objective, but I am certainly more skeptical. I have a real “prove it to me” attitude towards most claims, including those that ride a wave of hype like that coming off this yoyo.
One of the reasons I don’t expect to call the TiVayder the best yoyo in my collection, or the yoyo that makes me a better player, or whatever, is that my preferences are towards full-size, heavily rim-weighted, hyper-stable performance throws. The TiWalker/TiVayder does not really fall into that category, so no matter how nice it feels to play, I would not expect it to check off all the boxes necessary to turn my eyeballs into hearts.
I could end up being wrong about that, and all my expectations may get demolished once I put the TiVayder through its paces. But knowing what I know about my preferences (and my total indifference towards nostalgia), I’m not counting on it.
I live in Des Moines, and packages are often randomly delayed for a matter of days. I’m hopeful everything shows up tomorrow night as stated on the tracking.
I think a majority of first day orders will be in tomorrow. I live on the other side of the country and will be getting mine tomorrow according to tracking.
Mine still says on time (for tomorrow in NJ), but since it hasnt arrived at a distro center yet im still going to assume I probably wont get it. But a lot of the time ill get an order arrive at distro in the early AM hours that gets delivered to my local carrier in time for the morning mail. I really dont want to get my hopes up, but I should be getting mine tomorrow.
Amazing!! It’s pure Magic I cannot believe with all the Ti’s I’ve owned and played that it would really stand out… but the Ti-Vayder/Walker does!! People were wondering because I hated the Ti Hawk and The D-Runner…
I’m more curious how people will feel two plus weeks after they get it, not right away. Will they keep throwing it on a daily basis or will it stay in the case for long periods. I don’t put much stake in someone saying they love a yo-yo the same day they receive it after paying 140$ for it.
