Anyone tried this yet?
CaribouNick turned me onto this, and I gotta say… It’s pretty awesome. I have no idea why it works this way (I was a physics major in graduate school, not an engineer!), but it’s smooth! It completely goes against my intuition (actually, it may have to do with the center of mass of each half both lying the same distance away from the center of the axle in some freak-coincidence, come to think of it).
Anyway, if you have a Glacier Express and a Canvas, I’d say to give it a try. It’s very interesting!
