I want her too, I can’t choose between the new coffee splash, or the summertime colorway
Its the same as the original
I used to have one till last year so I’ll put down what I remember of its play.
Main thing is it plays quite dense, solid and compact. The comparatively narrow width and extreme H shape play into this I think. It has a slightly above average pacing to it, with the ability to go reasonably quick. I remember it being pretty stable though I don’t think it was particularly suited to zontals (though note that I don’t really do zontals much).
It’s got good power and spin for a monometal and overall I’d say it’s well suited to tech. Can’t remember how it was for rejections unfortunately. For zoning the gap width and further reduced trapeze width hurt it compared to a more conventional shape.
Also a note just on comfort since I know some people value that quite a lot: all the edges are very well rounded and the rims are wide so it feels good on the catch. But the thick rims may make holding it tightly uncomfortable if you have don’t have narrow fingers though. As a result I found my middle finger feeling squashed quite a bit while using it.
Overall, a very unique yo-yo to play and very visually striking.
