The Good News Thread: What’s good with you?

Life is chaotic and wild. The news and media constantly give us stuff to dread, taxing everyone’s mental health.

This is a thread for the community to share personal good news and wins.

Just share what is good in your life!
Could be something as simple or crazy. cool meal ya made? Landed a new trick? promotion at work?, taught your dog a trick?

Let’s share the positive and all the good going on!

All the love,

Great thread idea and timing for me personally.

My wife just got out of surgery and the doctor just came in and told me everything went great. So yup, that’s a huge win

My friend bought me three Baryon yoyos! My friend group bullied me into finally accepting a gift. They came in but I’ll likely have to wait a few days to recieve them.

.

I also decided to work on my looks a little now that I don’t have any partner.

Wanna see my tattoo? No? Okay here it is anyways.

After 18 years of dealing with a handful of widowmaker heart attacks starting with the first one being DOA in the emergency room and having multiple stints implanted throughout a dozen years, plus Atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter and ventricular tachycardia. I have had An implanted defibrillator for 9 years and then it was replaced with an actual multi wire pacemaker. I have had an open heart surgery for a double bypass and Afib ablation surgery twice. I have the same cardiologist who saved my life in the emergency room in 2008 still to this day. My ejection fraction is hovering around 20%, it’s been as low as 15% last year. But I am still hear throwing yoyos everyday. I walk an average of 5 miles a day, 2 of which are with my dogs. I can still ride my bicycle around town most days. And I don’t need help being able to do anything. I’m still alive
