Time for a question of minuscule value, regardless of answer>

Not sure why I all of a sudden got curious and adventurous? But I did.

Most often when I visit the forum, my standard procedure is to first click on New releases. Then, I click on the forum…. And not much beyond that.

Tonight……. I decided to step into foreign territory.

I clicked on ‘News’. I’m guessing I figured I thought I wanted to know what was new?

Amazingly, besides a fairly recent entry about Black Friday 2025, most of the other entries are at least 6 years old(from 2019).

Is there anybody more knowledgeable and intelligent than me… Which is obviously not a tall order… But is there anybody that can suggest any valid reason that the newest news they could show up in the news that’s not really that new needs to be six years old?

Logically, I’m guessing that Andre and his crew are just too busy to deal with that particular category.

But then again, I’m only guessing.

I would think that in this fast moving worldwide yo-yo situation… Even though it’s a very small percentage of humanity… That there would still be enough current events somehow you’re related that they could be put in that news category.

I’m sure somebody might say well, the news category is there for things like that black Friday advertisement. Makes sense in a way… Except for one thing.

Any notifications for yo-yo related things are usually posted up on the forum itself.

So it seems except for a few historian types that like looking at old news, that news category should just be deleted from the choices of what to click on.

To me, it’s kind of like walking into a hardware store and seeing a sign on the wall that says old-fashioned nails. And for years you go in the store and you see the sign on the wall that says old-fashioned nails. So after six years you walk up to the counter, and you asked the manager, where are you guys keep the old-fashioned nails? And a manager says we don’t have old-fashioned nails anymore. So you ask him then why do you have that sign up to his old-fashioned nails? If you don’t have old-fashioned nails anymore, why don’t you just take that sign down?

So the manager says well, we don’t take the sign down because even though we don’t have old-fashioned nails anymore, that’s an old-fashioned sign. Because it’s an old-fashioned sign we kinda like it.

I will end this near worthless post right about now because I gotta go do something.

I gotta go back and click on the News category again to see if anybody’s posted any entries in the last 10 minutes since I started this topic?

Maybe they can re-title it to “Olds”?

You need to do something almost immediately. You need to do an inventory check.

If you don’t have them, you might need them eventually.

You’re gonna need a first aid kit… a tourniquet… A defibrillator… 2 pints of plasma… A bottle of oxygen… And possibly an EpiPen.

You should have those on hand in case you ever take the challenge of actually trying to read one of my ‘Longer’ posts.

But look at it optimistically… You took the challenge and almost found a question. That is a good thing. Determination, perseverance, initiative, stubborn determination… That’s the mindset that will get you to the end of the tunnel.

Here is your next big challenge….. Find Waldo at the beach>

I prefer highlights. Figures you’re a where’s waldo man. More words doesn’t mean more intellect, but hey what ever floats your boat

Tldr: I don’t typically read your posts because I like my stories to have points and endings

Sine we are making suggestions I recommend learning how to write haiku so you can be more direct with word choices:rofl:

Heres one:

Words run forever

No point to be found near here

Long winds echo on

(just good natured ribbing, the title to your thread kind of invites it:grin:)
