And most of the entries after the second one or also at least six years old.
Obviously, nobody has to click on that specific category to find out what the actual news is, lol
But that being understood come instead of directly contacting Andre, I thought maybe somebody in the general forum might have a reasonable explanation as to why the forum even bothers to list a category that is serving, no purpose in the way of timely information?
I assume everyone realized the Yoyo Release & Restock category (and the rest of the forum) does the same job and probably better, so a disparate News section fell by the wayside.
This is the way I look at it. Obviously an abstract parallel, but the logic and reasoning is very similar.
Let’s say you have a food stand. Do you have a long table under your canopy and you have seven boxes side-by-side on top of the table.
First one is apples. Second one is grapes. Third one peaches. Fourth one nectarines. Fifth one oranges. Sixth one grapes. And the seventh one has apricots.
You’re at the farmers market every Wednesday, displaying your products.
Every Wednesday all seven boxes are displayed on the table. You’ve had the same display since 2019. You’ve never had any apricots. You haven’t had a single apricot in that box for literally years.
So you have a bright idea… A vision… An epiphany… A brainstorm… And an actual conscious thought that has substance to it. Allowing you to make a decision that you don’t have to make, but you decide it’s the right decision to make because to not do what you’ve decided to do does nothing else, but remain conundrum and illicit curiosities from people that just don’t think something should be there if it’s not serving a function.
Interestingly, enough, the category that says news has no news. Just like a box that has no apricots.
I’m certain it couldn’t be that much of a challenge to just remove that topic from the options of things to click on.
The only other option would be to actually add some news as it becomes available so that if anybody for whatever weird reason, decides to click on it, they’ll see something besides last year‘s Black Friday sale…. And everything following that announcement, being at least 6 or7 years old.
