A price dispute happen of a yoyos value.
Does suck to see this though, maybe it is down for updates. Least I hope

Yeah that’s probably a response to folks dog piling on a post in BST post when really that’s against the forum rules. Not cool even if the price was way outside of what folks are willing to pay.

the post is worth a read, even just for context. it was unfortunately a missed opportunity to discuss extremely rare and unique yoyos, and how people assess them. dave’s a smart guy, and has contributed a lot to the community. but it look like this convo put him over the edge a minute. it’s a shame as @TheThrowingGnome put it… the museum is a valuable resource, dave’s a valuable resource… he can pick out the most obscure yoyos from his experience. hopefully it’s temporary.

Yeah it was bad I thought it was valid pricing due to the current economy with rare materials and value and i used ti play magic and that was like the equivalent of 4 years of collecting in incriments sold it all but it was good profit

Just came to find out what was going on as well because the video surprised me, haha. Real shame to see, Dave’s a cool cat, and that site had a lot of historical info and interesting stuff on there.
Also always tough to see when a BST gets out of control like that. But I’m also of the mindset that if I don’t like the price of something, I just quietly move on, haha.

This is 100% not true.
I use this site all the time. It has a lot of really good information that has been lost to time. I hope it is just server maintenance because it would suck for the community to lose something like this. Honestly I think it would be a good idea to make it open source and upload it to github so it’s never lost.
