The Harlequin Sumo is probably still my favourite yoyo by appearance:

Taiwan Nick/YoPainter did some really cool paperclad Freehand Zeroes several years ago, but it’s hard to find pictures of them anymore. Shinobu’s Nostalgia is also a great looking yoyo.

I agree on Jason Wong and Eric Wolff; they’ve both made some really attractive stuff.
