Hey - any preferred tools for getting out axle knots out of thin-gapped fixies? I say this because I’m in a hotel room right now with only one Duncan Butterfly as my fixie and I was just going to try to record for FAF and then got an axle knot and broke both cocktail-picks that I had on me trying to get it out.

front desk should have a paper clip you can straighten. @Xanadu Alex, do you sell your picks independent of the holster? Alex’s picks are fantastic! i know that doesn’t help atm at a hotel, just sayin for reference. goes on a keyring, small enough for any gap, and softer al than any yoyo so won’t scratch anno!

An exacto knife and lots of extra string :grimacing:

Fun one that @Yodaddyo recommended to me.

I just use tooth picks. I’m also very careful to not pull knots tight, if I think there’s even the slightest possibility that I got a knot.

I carry a small pocket knife and use the flat side of the blade as a knot pick.

Another insane @AudreySickburn creation. How can it possibly play this good!?

This was super helpful. Thank you again. First time I have landed two in a row.

Also just figured out what the dimples on the yoyo were for, think it’s called pull starts? Interested in finding ways to incorporate those into tricks.

Dang, Nic… if I was just half as cool as you, I’d be the cat’s meow.

Very well done!

@JosephStromme here is the thread to post random fixie/responsive tricks.

Here’s some noodlin’ with another sick @AudreySickburn creation. How lucky are we that they decided to grace our little forum with their presence and gifts. Everyone should make sure and tell them thank you and let them know how amazing they are.

Love and appreciate you, Andy! You deserve the world.
