The 0A Thread (Fixed Axle & Modern Responsive)

I thought I recreated it, just to realize I wasn’t flipping it into that understall thing before regenerating it back into a trapeze Stall.

I was so dang proud I was like “do some cool regens now like it’s no biggie”

I still haven’t been able to analyze your wrist motions on regens because they look so much better than what I am doing

This is Makin Da Zines with a rollout. @Yodaddyo is basically doing Zipper Stalls but no rollout from the undermount.

Thank you so much. Once Seth gets it into the undermount, I am having a slight disconnect in his hand motions of getting it back to trapeze Stall.

I can flick from an undermount stall back into trapeze mount, but he has some kind of little pop motion that I can’t put my thumb on in real life attempts.

Now zipper stalls, those are a booger. I can do them really slow with 20 percent consistency, but I have to clean them up.

Here’s my demo of what I think @Yodaddyo is doing.

The hardest part was not reflexively rolling out from the undermount.

Thank you so much for the demonstration

I think the thing that had me tripped up was how he was rolling out from the undermount. He does this little “poppy up” kind of motion before flicking it over to the trapeze Stall. I need stop focusing on that and just practice a normal rollout from the undermount like you just showed me. Thank you again brother

Ok, I think I am on the path, I just gotta get more consistent on landing that undermount (and when I do land that undermount, landing it in a fashion where the stall has enough string wound to be able to regenerate it out.)

Thank you again

@Yodaddyo correct me if I’m wrong, but this looks like the toss element from Windshield Wipers except as a mini toss/pinwheel between the hands instead of a full toss over the throw hand.

If I’ve got that right, I don’t know the name of that element in itself. I just think of them as Wipeouts, or over the shoulder Raincoats

Oh I see the little toss now. Interesting. It’s like a toss up to regen.

Very cool dude! Your regens look fantastic to me. Everything will smooth out automatically the more you do it. This is a seriously great start. Blowing my mind.

This is pretty much right. The only difference is instead of just doing a regular dismount from the Undermount, I toss it up slightly and regen back into the trapeze

This is me with every little “flair” element I do. It makes it hard to make tutorials when you’re calling everything “this little toss thingy” and “flippy thingy” etc. :joy: I make it work though.

The tutorial I mentioned with the similar elements is up on the tube if you’re feeling it. Might give you a better idea of what’s happening in this one.

Checking it out now, thank you brother

If this particular little toss thingy didn’t have a name before it does now

I haven’t done windshield wipers start to finish since last FAF, but I use this element from it every day.
This is the Wipeout combo from my Regionals routine last year

I’ve been meaning to film this one for a while. Not really a new trick, but wouldn’t normally start and finish with Undermounts.

Some day I will be able to play like this… “No Look”.

I think this is it. @kretzschmar

Exactly! Hell yeah. I do try to do keep the toss and regen between my hands for a couple style points, instead of going around both, but yes. This is correct! Nice one dude!

That yoyo looks really nice. Is it a print?
