Stuck Hubstack Bearings

I just bought an 09 888 and I was trying to take the hubstack bearing off. But it seems that the bearings are stuck on to the posts very well. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wrap the string around it about 1 1/2 times and pull…

try to use pliers. works for me.

Pliers can damage the bearing.
